By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, downloading an application, using the website, or using the VPN service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Colitu VPN.
1. The service
Colitu VPN provides virtual private network services designed to help users improve online privacy, security, and network protection.
The service may include:
- VPN applications;
- VPN servers;
- account dashboard;
- subscription management;
- device management;
- customer support;
- release notes and software updates;
- related website and API services.
The exact features available to you may depend on your platform, subscription, region, app version, and account status.
2. Eligibility
You may use Colitu VPN only if:
- you can legally enter into a binding agreement;
- you are not prohibited from using VPN services under applicable law;
- your use complies with these Terms;
- your account information is accurate and up to date.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to you.
3. Account registration
To use paid or account-based features, you may need to create an account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate account information;
- keep your login credentials secure;
- not share your account in a way that violates these Terms;
- notify us if you suspect unauthorized access;
- keep your email address current.
Accounts may be created using email/password or Google sign-in where available.
Google login/register requirement: the frontend must support Google sign-in/sign-up if the backend API supports it. Google authentication must create or authenticate the account directly through the Colitu API. All user account data must be stored and managed by the API/database layer, not by frontend-only storage.
4. Device limit
Unless the checkout page, account dashboard, or subscription plan states otherwise, each subscription includes access for 1 active device.
A device may include a desktop, laptop, phone, tablet, or other supported endpoint.
We may provide a device management system in the account panel. In the future, users may be able to add extra devices for an additional fee. This feature should be treated as a future add-on and must not be shown as active unless the backend supports billing and entitlement for additional devices.
You may not bypass device limits, share accounts commercially, resell access, or use automated systems to exceed plan restrictions.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected amount, including applicable taxes, fees, renewals, or other charges shown at checkout.
The checkout page must clearly display:
- selected plan;
- billing period;
- price;
- currency;
- tax/VAT information if applicable;
- device limit;
- renewal or non-renewal terms;
- total amount due today;
- any important limitations.
Do not show incomplete checkout totals such as “—” or “Loading plans...” as final purchase information.
6. Renewals
If automatic renewal is enabled for a subscription, the renewal terms must be clearly disclosed at checkout or in the account dashboard.
Users should be able to view subscription status in the account panel.
If automatic renewal is not enabled, access may expire at the end of the purchased period unless renewed manually.
7. Refunds and cancellations
Refund availability depends on the terms shown at checkout, applicable law, payment provider rules, and any separate refund policy published by Colitu VPN.
Do not promise a refund guarantee unless the business has approved and implemented it.
Users may contact support@colitu.xyz for billing questions.
Cancellation stops future access or renewal according to the applicable subscription rules. Cancellation does not automatically mean a refund unless required by law or stated in the applicable refund policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Colitu VPN to:
- violate applicable laws or regulations;
- attack, scan, disrupt, or compromise networks, systems, or services;
- distribute malware, phishing, spam, or harmful content;
- commit fraud, identity theft, harassment, stalking, or abuse;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- send unsolicited bulk messages;
- operate botnets or automated abuse systems;
- exploit children or distribute illegal sexual content;
- traffic in stolen credentials, stolen data, or unauthorized access;
- interfere with Colitu VPN infrastructure;
- reverse engineer, tamper with, or bypass service restrictions;
- resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the service without written permission;
- use the service in a way that harms Colitu VPN, other users, or third parties.
9. Abuse enforcement
We may investigate abuse reports and suspicious activity.
If we believe your account violates these Terms, we may:
- warn you;
- limit access;
- suspend access;
- terminate your account;
- block devices;
- block payment methods;
- report abuse where legally required;
- preserve relevant account, payment, security, or operational data where allowed by law.
Abuse reports should be sent to: abuse@colitu.xyz
10. No unlawful use
Colitu VPN is a privacy and security service. It is not a tool for committing unlawful acts.
You are solely responsible for how you use the service and for complying with laws applicable to your location and activities.
11. Service availability
We aim to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available in every location at all times.
The service may be affected by:
- maintenance;
- server outages;
- network congestion;
- third-party infrastructure problems;
- software bugs;
- legal or regulatory restrictions;
- force majeure events;
- app store or platform limitations;
- payment provider issues.
12. Software updates and release notes
The website download page must automatically fetch available app versions, download links, and release notes from the API.
The release notes UI must include platform selection, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
For each platform, show latest version, release date, download link, file name if available, checksum if available, release notes/changelog, minimum supported OS if available, and status such as stable, beta, coming soon, or unavailable.
If the API is temporarily unavailable, show a safe fallback message instead of broken links or fake versions.
Do not display download buttons for unavailable files unless clearly marked as coming soon.
13. Third-party services
The service may interact with third-party providers such as:
- payment processors;
- Google sign-in;
- app stores;
- hosting providers;
- analytics providers if enabled;
- email and support providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
14. Intellectual property
Colitu VPN, Colitu Networks OÜ, the website, apps, logos, design, software, documentation, and related materials are owned by Colitu Networks OÜ or its licensors.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for personal or internal business use according to these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the service except where allowed by law or written permission.
15. User feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or feature ideas, you allow Colitu Networks OÜ to use them without obligation to compensate you, unless separately agreed in writing.
16. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy: /privacy-policy
17. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, payment fails, we detect fraud or abuse, we must comply with law, or continued service would create risk for Colitu VPN, users, infrastructure, or third parties.
You may stop using the service at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting privacy@colitu.xyz or using the account dashboard if available.
18. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Colitu VPN is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
- the service will be available at all times;
- the service will make you anonymous in every situation;
- the service will prevent all tracking, malware, attacks, censorship, or surveillance;
- every website or app will work with the VPN;
- every server location will always be available;
- speeds will always meet a specific threshold;
- the service will be legal or accessible in every country.
Users remain responsible for their own security practices.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Colitu Networks OÜ and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, business, or service availability.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount paid by you for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires a different limit.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
20. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Colitu Networks OÜ from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- your misuse of the service;
- your violation of these Terms;

21. Changes to the service
We may modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue features, servers, applications, plans, prices, or availability.
If changes materially affect paid users, we should provide reasonable notice where practical.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will show a new effective or last updated date.
If changes are material, we may notify users through the website, app, account dashboard, or email.
Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
23. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
Courts located in Estonia will have jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law provides another mandatory forum.
